I have been asked why I don’t have a more visible profile, encourage feedback or actively seek contact. No, I’m not anti social or some kind of rudimental (cheap) artificial intelligence. There are two reasons. Firstly, I don’t really need it. I’m happy knowing peope may make something, or get a smile out of an item I’ve posted. Conceited? Not really. Some people will like what I do – some not. If I am vulnerable to the latter group I will fail to provide anything positive to the former. Allowing the small minded to poison content leads me into the second reason. Too many people with something to contribute (a subjective concept) are wary of the internet because of the inclination for some individuals to turn everything into confrontational entertainment. I find this negative and boring, although it clearly gets ‘bums on seats’ and makes money. Is this therefore encouraged? You decide. Personally I’m not interested in being part of that moronic circus.

  Take pride in many victories – I doesn’t matter how small they may seem. They all matter.
